Lucina is one of the band's lead vocalist and plays jarana and guitar. She was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and joined Los Cenzontles at the age of 15.

Fabiola joined Los Cenzontles when she was 15, and is now a lead vocalist. She draws inspiration from her musical idols such Lola Beltran and Patsy Cline.

Hugo is a lead singer and plays bass, jarana, and percussion. He also continues to teach voice and guitar at LCMAC where he mentors children and teens.

Eugene was born in Los Angeles and moved to the Bay Area where he started Los Cenzontles. He was nominated for a Grammy Award for his production of Papa's Dream with Los Lobos and Lalo Guerrero.

Fandango tells the story of musicians as they struggle to revive a dying tradition of Veracruz, Mexico. This is a journey from California's inner city to the heart of Veracruz, the cradle of the son Jarocho.
