Los Cenzontles to Perform at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival In S.F.

Last year’s Hardly Bluegrass Festival in Golden Gate Park saw more than 500,000 people. The San Francisco Chronicle said that the festival “No. 7 goes down in the books as another miraculous weekend.” This year Los Cenzontles will be a part of the world class festival, performing with special guest Santiago Jimenez Jr. Scheduled for October 3-5, this is one FREE event that is sure to deliver a feast of musical jams!

We are thrilled to announce that we’ll be rocking the house with special guest David Hidalgo at The Knitting Factory in Hollywood on November 5, 2008 and for two shows at Yoshi’s in Oakland on November 12, 2008. We’ll be celebrating the release of our newest album "Songs of Wood & Steel." You do not want to miss this!

Festival-goers will travel the globe experiencing the multiplicity of sounds that span our world at the 15th annual Chico World Music Festival on September 20th and 21st. This is a free event, open to the public with shows beginning at 11am and ending around 5pm both Saturday and Sunday. You can catch us on stage at 12:30pm or 2:30pm on Saturday the 20th.
